Catch the great Liane Carroll in Northampton!

Yamaha is again supporting the forthcoming Liane Carroll charity gig at the superb Black Bottom Club in Northampton on 24 November, 2011. The event is a fundraiser in aid of local charity CAN which works for people with drug, alcohol and homelessness problems.

Tickets are a very reasonable £15, given that Liane is acclaimed as one of the most gifted artists of her generation and admired by the likes of Tom Jones, Natalie Williams, Michael Parkinson, Jamie Cullum and Kevin Spacey.

Liane was one of the judges of the 2010 Yamaha Jazz Experience Competition and a multi-award-winning multi-talented vocalist, songwriter, pianist. A passionate supporter of the charity, Liane is the epitome of the word 'humble': expect no artistic affectation, prima donna- type posturing or false sentiment. You will instead witness a performance that draws on all musical influences and one that comes from the soul, all bound up with stunning virtuosity. The 'honesty' of her performance has moved audiences from Ronnie Scott's Club to thousands of mud-splattered converts at Glastonbury Festival.
