Birmingham International Piano Academy 2009

The fifth Birmingham International Piano academy takes place from Sunday 26 July to Sunday 2 August 2009, supported and hosted by the Birmingham Conservatoire and in association with Yamaha, which has supported this important event for a number of years.

BIPA will provide a unique opportunity for giften pianists of any age or nationality to rceeive high quality and intensive tuition within a stimulating but relaxed environment. Students will benefit from the Conservatoire's excellent facilities, including two concert halls, teaching studios which include high-quality Yamaha grand pianos and more than fifty practice studios.

Joining BIPA's teaching staff will be distinguished visitors, internationally acclaimed pianos Peter Donohoe, Christopher Elton, Steven Osborne and Oxana Yablonskaya, who are joined by Academy staff, John Humphries, Robert Markham, Philip Martin, David Quigley and Malcolm Wilson.
