Beat Professional Isolation: join Yamaha Education Friends
The 2009 Ofsted report, 'Making More of Music', cited professional isolation as a key problem for music education.
If you are involved in music education in the UK, whether you're a teacher, music leader, musician, orchestra, band or ensemble or an education body, it can be very difficult to stay on top of the rapid changes that UK music education is encountering.
Yamaha Education Friends offers free membership to all music educators based in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. It is a space where you can learn about and find resources relating to a range of Yamaha educational projects and activities, including jazz education, music technology, composing, contemporary classical music and group teaching. Many fo these themes appear in our music education magazine, YES.
Yamaha Education Friends is the place where you can have your say and get involved with some of these projects aand also connect with and swap ideas with other members of this community.
