Classical Artists
Piano Circus (piano ensemble)
Piano Circus is a 60-fingered contemporary piano ensemble which celebrates, commissions and performs new music, both on its Pianocircus chooses Yamaha CP33 and on acoustic pianos. Founded in 1989 Piano Circus often blends live electronics or works with other musicians, like its 2009 collaboration with Bill Bruford, which spawned the CD 'Skin & Wire'. Piano Circus' education activities are extensive and span primary schools to conservatoires, on the one hand creating pathways for first encounters with new music for very young people and their teachers or, on the other, leading high-level postgraduate composing masterclasses. Yamaha and Piano Circus share the same vision: of wanting to inspire the next generation of musicians and we look forward to further opportunities for collaboration.
